GOING DUTCH

I have only just returned from a wonderful weekend in Holland at the Zuiderzee Museum in Enkhuisen. The Martime Festival was excellent with the best of Hollands Shanty Groups singing their hearts out and me the Lone Songwriter, not the Lone Ranger popping up to sing my songs.  It was a great opportunity for me to sing  Whitby Harbour with Kees Kwant’s excellent group “Nelson’s Blood” and also try out a new song written for the occaison called “Beside The Zuider Zee” I sang this with the ladies of the Lakeside Singers, video to follow.  My thanks to everyone concerned for a wonderful weekend of music and friendship.
